BHP Olympic Dam Information Day for Indigenous applicants

BHP Olympic Dam is seeking Expressions of Interest from Indigenous applicants interested in joining our talented Underground Mining Operations and Surface Execution teams.

There will be an Olympic Dam Information Day for Indigenous applicants on March 27th 2024 at the Port Augusta City Council Central Oval – starting at 10:30am.

Successful applicants will be responsible for contributing to the day to day operations of the mine in a safe and efficient manner. There are 20 Indigenous identified roles on offer on a ‘drive in drive out’ or ‘bus in bus out’ basis from Port Augusta and surrounds.

BHP strongly encourage applications from Kokatha, Barngarla, Kuyani, Dieri, Arabana and Antakarinja Peoples as well as other Indigenous community members across South Australia’s Mid and Far North regions.

At the Olympic Dam Information Day, attendees will hear from Indigenous Employees and Leaders about their career journeys at BHP, explore the advertised roles and connect with representatives across the business to learn about working at Olympic Dam including lifestyle and support networks.

To be eligible and for an opportunity to attend BHP Assessment Centres on the 4th April 2024, we ask that you apply to the live advertisement on this link - click ‘Apply Now’, answer the questions in the job advertisement and attach a CV.
