Board Governance Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) and Indigenous Community Organisation Scholarships Applications Extended

Thanks to a partnership between BHP and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), 250 First Nations people will be able to access Board Governance scholarships to help them build their skills and take on leadership roles within their communities and organisations.

What’s included for each scholar?

• Enrolment in the AICD’s Governance Foundations for NFP Directors course

• An in-person leadership workshop (with travel and accommodation covered!)

• Four virtual coaching sessions to help embed what’s learned

• Access to the AICD’s First Nations Community of Practice virtual sessions

  
  

These scholarships are all about empowering First Nations people to strengthen their leadership skills and make a real difference in their communities. The courses will take place in Port Augusta, around September 2025, and successful applicants will receive more details soon.
