Arabana Wadlhu Ngurrku-Ku (For Healthy Country) Plan Community Workshop

We invite all Arabana people to a community workshop to discuss updating the Arabana Wadlhu Ngurrku-Ku (For Healthy Country) Plan. This workshop will build on the 2023 workshops to develop the Arabana Ranger Program Strategic Plan (which is based on the Arabana Country Plan).


Event Details:

  • Date: Sunday, October 13, 2024

  • Location: The Standpipe Motor Inn, Port Augusta

  • Time: 10am-3pm

  • Participate Online via Google Teams Also Available


How to Participate:

We're looking for a diverse and fair representation from all Arabana families, including men, women, elders, and youth. We are aiming for participants to be:

  • Even representation from all Apical families

  • A balanced representation of men and women

  • A fair balance of Elders and youth


Registration Deadline:

  • Closing Date: Friday, September 20, 2024


What’s Included:

  • Lunch: Provided on the day


How to Register:

Please register for the event via Eventbrite and choose whether you will attend in person at the Port Augusta workshop or if you will be attending online via Google Teams.


If you know other Arabana members who don't have access to the internet or may not be computer literate, please assist them with the registration process.
