This morning we visited the Arabana Warli site again at Ausco, and it’s coming along beautifully! The building is shaping up well, and we're on track for what’s ahead.
We’re set for the final inspection with the building inspector end of January/beginning of February, with plans to transport the buildings to Marree in the second week of February. This is a huge step forward for us, and it’s exciting to see it all coming together.
Once completed, Arabana Warli will be more than just a place to stay, it’s going to be a space where Arabana Elders, families, and community can come together, share stories, and reconnect with Country. It’ll also be a hub for knowledge sharing, workshops, and cultural activities.
We’re looking forward to seeing this vision turn into a reality, and we’re thankful for everyone who has supported us along the way with special thanks to BHP, Ahrens and Ausco. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to completing this important project for our people!
