Arru young Arabana mob! DEM MOB is leading four music workshops that will focus on writing and producing hip hop music with the guidance of Arabana language from our very own Veronica Arbon.
These workshops are a chance for our young ones to get creative, have fun, and explore their musical talents while also connecting with their heritage... And meet the legendary DEM MOB!
These workshops are open to all ages and skill levels. Everyone is welcome!
Here’s what you need to know:
Workshop Times:
These workshops will be held at Umeewarra Media in Port Augusta and are designed to give our youth the space to create, express, and record their music.
After the workshops, DEM MOB and CASM will work together to record and produce the songs created, which will then be shared on the Arabana Aboriginal Corporation’s YouTube channel for everyone to enjoy.
This is more than just making music, it’s about empowering our youth to connect with their culture, express themselves, and create something meaningful for their community.
If you’re interested or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Arabana Aboriginal Corporation at admin@arabana.com.au or give us a call at 8641 1583.
