BHP are seeking motivated and passionate 1st year applications for their 2026 Apprenticeship Program. They are offering a number of apprenticeship positions available at Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill locations commencing in Janurary 2026.Â
In undertaking this 4 year Apprenticeship you can expect hands on industry-lead training and mentoring by BHP’s talented workforce, first-rate working conditions, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) course enrolment, and a nationally recognised qualification in your chosen trade on successful completion.

If successful, apprentices will be employed under a 4-year fixed term contract. Apprentices are expected to work and attend Trade School in South Australia as per South Australian Apprenticeship requirements.
