Ministers to Camp Out on Arabana Country: A Historic Visit for Future Collaboration

Following Minister Kyam Maher's visit to Marree in July, our Chairperson Bronwyn Dodd and Director Glen Wingfield were introduced to Deputy Premier Susan Close.

They discussed key issues such as water extraction from the Great Artesian Basin, the preservation of the Mound Springs and Kati Thanda, as well as the co-management of parks with our Arabana Rangers.

The conversation also covered other community and corporation priorities for the coming months. Both ministers have graciously accepted an invitation from the Chair of AAC to visit Arabana Country and camp out with us in April 2025.
