IDA Media Training for our Arabana Rangers

Last week, our Arabana Rangers had the incredible opportunity to finalise their participation in media training on country, thanks to the support and guidance of IDA’s media team (Indigenous Desert Alliance).

This training was not just about learning to handle film equipment; it was about empowering our rangers to tell their own stories and showcase the beauty and significance of our desert landscape.

Throughout the week, the rangers delved into the art of storytelling, choosing their own narratives and creating a film that highlights the important work they do. This hands-on experience allowed them to gain valuable skills in media production, which will help amplify their voices and share their connection to the land.

We are eagerly anticipating the premiere of their film and look forward to sharing it with our community. A huge thanks to IDA for being such a strong supporter and cheerleader for our rangers. Your guidance and encouragement have made a lasting impact.

Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to follow us on social media for the latest news and stories from the Arabana community. Thank you, IDA, for your incredible support!
